Jean LARONZE (1852-1937), "Bord de Loire (Boubonnais) avec barque et promeneuse", oil on canvas signed and dated 1902 lower right, H: 34 cm, W: 55 cm, "It (this painting) appears to be a painting close to his large "Bords de la Loire (Bourbonnais)" exhibited at the 1910 Salon. This painting (95x125cm) is reproduced on page 71 of my book and the similarities are striking." The painting is presented in a gilded stucco frame with a border and garland of fruit in high relief.
