Meine künstlerische Intention hat etwas damit zu tun, was ich als Lebensrhythmus bezeichne. Ich möchte etwas schaffen, das eine Kraft wie das Atmen hat. Alles atmet - auch die Natur. Um das Atmen eines Baumes darzustellen, ist es nicht nötig, einen Baum zu malen. Meine Bilder haben für mich durchaus etwas Organisches. Sie sind in diesem Sinn realistisch.
