With the very rare publisher's legend. - The complete panorama of the city of Jerusalem by Johann Daniel Herz (1693-1754) simultaneously depicts various aspects of the story of Jesus as well as different areas of the historic city. The Augsburg engraver and publisher demonstrates his skill through the detailed compositional design of the engraving and the fine lines of the print. The top view and the various scenes are explained by the numbering printed in the plate in the accompanying publisher's legend. With slight visible curvature in places due to mounting, as well as scattered brown stains and minimal tears.
