DĂŠdicace Ă Dutrou
In 1944, Robert Dutrou, then 14 years old âgĂŠ, intègre as an apprentice at the cĂŠlèbre Lacourière intaglio workshop. It was at the cĂ'tĂŠs of its founders, that he acquired the rigour and exigency nĂŠcessary Ă the practice of this mĂŠtier and began Ă drawing for Joan MirĂł.
Robert Dutrou ĂŠ married Lydie in 1952. Together with Aldo Crommelynck, they opened their own studio in the 14th arrondissement of Paris.
In the 1960s, AimĂŠ and Marguerite Maeght asked the couple to run the foundation's intaglio department.
