“Quelques fleurs pour des amis”
Artist's book with 32 lithographs by Joan Miró signed on the plate and dedicated to his closest circle of friends, also featuring an original lithograph by Joan Miró signed in pencil. The cover is an original lithograph by Miró. It is the first of 150 copies, numbered from 76 to 225, printed on Grand Vélin de Rives and Vélin d'Arches paper, and including, as mentioned above, an original colour lithograph signed by the artist. It also includes a preface by the Franco-Romanian playwright Eugène Ionesco, entitled ‘Avec un coup d'oeil sur le jardin’.

The watercolours reproduced in this work were painted by Joan Miró on the endpapers of 32 copies of the original edition of his book Je travaille comme un jardinier.
