The latter received his artistic training under Johann Jakob Dorner the Elder and at the Academy in Munich. Dillis is artistically and art-historically significant as a sensitive portraitist of the Upper Bavarian landscape with the surrounding area of Munich and Tyrol. Oil on canvas, mounted on card.
