He wonders about the successor of the Emperor of Russia Alexander: "will he deliver the Greeks, the peoples of Europe, by leaving to each nation the weight which it must have at home? Another letter (initialled) to the same author, 16 June 1823, is attached, referring to Lamarque's candidacy in the elections (1 p. in-4).
