RECTANGULAR JÛBAKO Having belonged to an incense set, with two levels and a lid, in kinji lacquer, the lid and sides decorated in usuniku-takamaki-e, heidatsu gold, aogai and kirigane inlays, with chrysanthemum bushes among hills and on the banks of a stream; the lid revealing a small tray decorated with cherry blossom trees in heidatsu gold and silver, among hills; the lower level containing three small black lacquer boxes decorated with a set of autumn plants in moonlight, in hiramaki-e gold and red, aogai, heidatsu gold and mura-nashiji; the inside and reverse in nashiji lacquer.
