Art Nouveau étagère table by Louis Majorelle. Mahogany, partly carved in relief, and marquetry in various precious woods such as rosewood, walnut, maple and yew burl. Open frame made of curved struts set against each other in vegetal relief, connected by straight bars. Moulded shelf and slightly hollowed top panel with full-surface depictions of water lilies and flowering aquatic plants, marked L. Majorelle. Bronze handles with floral designs on the sides. H. 82.5 cm. 88 cm x 59 cm.
