Art Nouveau vase with ornamental tobacco decoration by Daum Frères. Baluster shape, slightly flared foot, conically widening body, double bevelled shoulder, accentuated lip rim. Cased glass, colourless and light green, yellow and red and dark powder meltings to the foot. Etched decoration all around in several steps combined with polychrome enamel painting of ornamental tobacco flower stems and grasses. Signed "DAUM NANCY", Lorraine cross. H. 19.5 cm.
