Jules Pierre VAN BIESBROECK (1873-1965). Flagpole planters. Proof in plaster. Circa 1900. Probably a single studio plaster on its original reinforced plaster base. This is the first version with a short mast not topped with a laurel wreath. The bronze monument is located in Ghent in the citadel park opposite the Museum of Fine Arts.
