Signed and dated. 1905, foundry mark "RKB" in ligature, flanked by "BRONZE GARANTIE". Serpentine base. An athletic, artistically subtle half nude standing on a square plinth with a tight loincloth of leather straps. Height 55 cm. The bronzes not attributed to Julius Paul Schmidt-Felling and only signed "Schmidt-Felling" could also be works by Anton Schmidt-Felling, who is the only sculptor clearly documented in the Berlin address books 1909-1926 and in the Handbuch des Kunstmarktes (1926). Dark brown patinated bronze. Signed and dated 1905. Foundry mark with monogram "RKB".
