German 7 x 50 binoculars with a coating in good condition, albeit with a few missing parts. The eyecups are missing. The visible markings are Dienstglas 7 x 50 number 222759 BLC accompanied by the + symbol. The carrying strap is present as well as the leather tab for attachment to the buttonhole. The optics are clear although marked with a few stains. There is some wear and patina to the piece. condition II+. According to the seller this piece comes from Bourcy. On the night of 18/19 December 1944, the German 2nd Panzer Division entered Bourcy as part of the German offensive to capture Bastogne.
