In the shape of a fluted truncated column, decorated with garlands of flowers and a laurel wreath. The top in the shape of a vase with a "cercle tournant" enamelled chapter ring for the date. A cupid sits on the vase, the arrow shows the date. On a rectangular grey stone base with recessed gilt bronze meanders and crushed feet. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes and day indicator. Parisian movement with half-hour strike on bell. Signed JX DENIER À PARIS 3071 and AD.MOUGIN JOUVENAUX. H 41 cm. Dial with chipping around winding holes. Date ring with chips. Marble base with minor chips.
