Gottschalck with 11 different scales (ca. 1:6.000.000), mountain lines and detailed statistical legend. Gotha, Perthes, 1792. 24 linen-covered segments, with 4 mounted linen loops. Approx. 144 x 85 cm (each segment approx. 21 x 21 cm). Large-format, detailed map. Rare, currently not available for us in international trade and only traceable once at auction. - Scale in graph. Scale in graphical form (geogr. or German miles, French lieues etc.). - With extension sheet (39 x 41 cm) as eastern connection and additional sheet, titled: General statistical overview of the basic power of the European states according to their political rank and population, arranged by H. Berghaus. - The first edition of this information-rich map was published in 1841, the third, for the present once more improved and enlarged one followed in 1855 - Somewhat stained, altogether well-preserved. Large-format map. Rare, currently not traceable for us in the international trade and only once at auction. - Scale in graphical form (German miles, French lieues etc.). - With extension sheet (39 x 41 cm) as eastern connection and additional sheet titled: General statistical survey of the basic power of the European states according to their political rank and population, arranged by H. Berghaus. - The first edition of this informative map was published in 1841, the third, to the present once again improved and enlarged, followed in 1855. - Some spotting, overall well preserved.
