In madder-coloured cloth with scarlet-painted brass vents, sky-blue headband and piping, embroidered daffodil grenade, leather chinstrap with slides, secured by 2 small infantry officer module buttons. Black patent leather visor, green basane lining underneath. Interior with full black basane, skullcap with cap and registration number. Some moth holes, wear from use, patina. 1884 Officer Cadet Kepi, École Spéciale Militaire Scarlet cloth kepi fitted with brass aerators painted scarlet, light blue band and piping, embroidered jonquil grenade, leather chinstrap with sliding adjustment fixed by two small officer infantry buttons. Black varnished leather visor, underside lined with green leather. Interior with full black sweatband, top fitted with a vent and serial number. A few moth holes, signs of use, patina.
