Small Louis XVI lidded bowl, so-called Ecuelle. Silver. Flat stand, merging into a conical, smooth bowl. Two matching curved, moulded handles with leaf decoration in relief on the sides. Domed plug-in lid with bud finial over a rosette of lancet-shaped leaves. Gilt interior. Marked 13 lot, inspection mark, master Jacob Heinrich Alberti (becomes master 1764), marks partly unrecognisable, probably year letter. Weight approx. 165 g. H. 6 cm. D. 8.8 cm. Cf. Rosenberg, vol.
