Print, dai oban tate-e, from the series Kindai jiseishō no uchi (近代時世粧ノ内 ), Fashion today, plate [go] 「五」, 5: Kurokami (黒髪), Black hair. Signed Kiyoshi and artist's stamp Kobayakawa. Dated the 2nd month of Showa 6 (1931). Self-published. Edition 1/100. Inscribed in pencil "Kiyoshi, II" in the lower margin. The background in baren-suji (folds).

A young woman, probably coming out of the bath, is kneeling, combing her hair. A small towel is placed on her thighs. The contours of her body are printed without ink and a second pass is made in black ink in places, giving the whole a sketched look.
