Collection of three Renaissance and Baroque objects Consisting of: high rectangular relief plaque in gilt silver depicting the Holy Family in high relief, probably from southern Germany/Augsburg, possibly modelled on an Italian work; small high rectangular plaque with a scenic depiction of the Annunciation of the Lord by the Archangel Gabriel to Mary; round medallion pendant in gilt bronze or brass with an inset small portrait of a male head in profile in relief carved ivory, framed on the front by openwork Renaissance ornamentation with a mask in relief carving. Brass with inset, small portrait of a male head in profile made of relief-carved ivory, framed on the front by open-worked Renaissance ornamentation with mascarons, verso a central rosette of flowers framed by chiselled acanthus tendrils. D. 6.5 cm (medallion); silver relief plaque with Holy Family 12.3 cm x 10.3 cm (weight approx. 675 g.); small plaque with Annunciation 10.2 x 7.2 cm. The same depiction of the Holy Family can also be found on a South German ivory relief from the beginning of the 18th century in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (inv. 24.80.90), which suggests that the plaque was made in Augsburg.
