Konrad Kujau after Vincent van Gogh (1938 Löbau - 2000 Stuttgart) "The Travellers". Kujau became famous in 1983 for his forgeries of the so-called "Hitler diaries" for the magazine "Stern" (the story was made into a satirical film by Helmut Dietl in 1992 under the title "Schtonk!"); in addition, Kujau also created a large number of pictures explicitly declared by him as "original Kujau forgeries" after painters from a wide variety of eras and styles.
