Illustrated with 33 original compositions by Paul Jouve, all wood-engraved by Jules Léon Perrichon, 13 of which are full-page, some enhanced with gold, a large two-colour composition on the cover, 12 large coloured headbands, 6 small endpapers and a title vignette. The entire work is decorated with ornamentation by François-Louis Schmied. Edition of 150 copies on vellum, this one of 20 copies of collaborators signed by François-Louis Schmied, enriched with a suite in black on chine, a composition on the cover in 4 states and a refused plate in black signed by the publisher.
