Dimensions: H: 76; W: 43; D: 32 cm Christian Charvet was born in Saint-Etienne in 1951. His painter grandfather passed on to him his taste for drawing and painting, and more generally for the Arts. When he entered the Ecole Polytechnique in 1971, in addition to the scientific teaching that enabled him to develop his geometrical mind, he spent two years taking drawing and painting classes with Lucien Fontanarosa and Hervé Loillier. He has been practising sculpture since moving to Brussels in 2003, and has perfected his art and techniques in a number of workshops.
