Leaflet in folio (28.6 x 20.4 cm), green percaline folder, double cold framing and imperial arms of Eugénie de Montijo on the first cover (Period binding). Long poem in alexandrines composed on the occasion of the first communion of the young imperial prince Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte, the dedicatee of these verses. The booklet is set in a folder embossed with the arms of the Empress Eugénie, mother of the communicant. Slight soiling to the folder and minor rubbing, pale freckling to the text.
