Laila GOHAR A large, exceptional wooden banquet table with a patina imitating grained wood, comprising three interlocking modules. Exact dimensions are shown in the photos. Max. height: 300 cm; length of Module 1: 5000 cm; length of Module 2: 6200 m. This large banquet table was commissioned for the opening cocktail reception at Sotheby’s Paris, 83 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Worthy of the extravagances of the 18th century, its setting for this memorable evening was reminiscent of the banquets hosted by the famous chef François Vatel.
