The tactics are on full display in this superbly staged panel, which also includes classic Bluecoat elements: the charging scene, present in the first panel, and the eternal comic duality between the two heroes. The construction of the layout, alternating views from the ground and from the balloon, and the beauty of the inking make this a magnificent example of Franco-Belgian comic humor.
