The name "frog" comes from the flattened shape reminiscent of a crouching frog. 19th - early 20th century flame lamp - The Protector Lamp & Lightning type SL (Side bed) miner's lamp. Brass and glass, H: 25 cm. Common from the 1920s and used until the 1970s. - Electric lamp. H: 28.5 cm. Provenance: José Henry collection.
