Extremely rare work, with only one other copy known, of this detailed account of the eruptive phenomena of 19 March 1790, when the land south of Santa Maria di Niscemi was shaken by violent seismic activity. The area was marked by deep fissures, intense heat emissions, and noxious vapours. During the event, a small volcanic cone was formed, actively releasing steam and heat over several days.
