LARGE DISPLAY PLATE WITH A FAMILY COAT OF ARMS - The Embden Collection
Renaissance, “Veneto-Saracenic” middle of the 16th century.
Brass intricately engraved with geometric and arabesque fillets. Wide lip with rounded rim. In the center of the well is probably a Venetian family coat of arms (possibly from the Condulmer family).
Ø 44 cm.
Repair to the rim. Minor dents and rubbing.
