LARGE GREEK GEOMETRIC HORSE FIGURINE WITH STAMPED MOTIFS.
Ca. 800 - 700 BC. A stylised bronze horse figurine with an elongated body arched beneath and set on tapering legs, with a short tail looping downwards. The neck rises steeply to a narrow head with prominent ears and a tubular muzzle with an incised mouth. The entire body is decorated with a series of stamped ring-and-dot motifs.
