Large porcelain painting of tavern scene.
Royal porcelain manufacturer St. Petersburg. Dated 1852. Signed M. Krjukow. After Hendrick Joseph Dillens (1812-1872).
Poecelain, polychrome painting. A young hostess is pulling down a hat over a cheeky customer's head. While a group of figures watch the scene. Porcelain plate 76 x 60cm. Frame 110 x 96cm. Condition A/B. Pierced frame.
Blue Marke Nikolaus I (1825-55). Lower left cyrill. inscription: 'nach Dillens dem Älteren'. Lower right crill. signed: 'M. Krjukow' with date 1852.
On the verso of the wooden panel backing of the painting is a former adhesive label with typed provenance information of a Weimar Estate.
