LARGE ROMAN BRONZE OIL LAMP WITH LEAF-SHAPED HANDLE Ca. AD 300 - 500. A bronze oil lamp with a rounded body and a pronounced, elongated nozzle. The sunken discus is decorated with concentric rings surrounding a separately cast lid, attached by a chain to a broad, leaf-shaped finial. A loop handle is set directly below the finial, rising vertically from the rear of the body. Two pierced lugs are positioned on either side of the nozzle.
