LARGE ROMAN GLASS BOTTLE Ca. AD 100 - 300. A Roman mold-blown translucent glass bottle with a concave base, a cylindrical body and a rounded shoulder. The shoulder tapers to a large tubular neck with a collared rim and a wide strap handle joins the neck to shoulder. The bottle has areas of bright silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence.
