LATE CELTIC SILVER SNAKE BRACELET
Ca. AD 100 - 300.
A Celtic crafted silver bracelet with a flattened band that gracefully tapers to an open end. One end features an elongated, stylized animal head, which may represent either a serpent or a bird of prey motifs commonly found in Celtic art. The head is decorated with incised designs, including concentric circles, zigzag patterns, and linear embellishments, all characteristic of the La Tène artistic tradition. The opposite end of the bracelet tapers to a smooth, pointed tip.
