LATE ROMAN GLASS JAR WITH ZIG-ZAG TRAIL DECORATION
Ca. AD 200 - 300. A translucent light green glass jar with a bulbous body and a sloping shoulder. It rests on a concave base with a visible pontil mark. The short neck ends in a flaring mouth with a rounded rim and is adorned with a zig-zag trail of the same colour. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Accession Number: 74.51.197.
