BRUSH WASHER, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, YONGZHENG PERIOD, 18TH CENT. 18TH Porcelain enamelled in FenQing (clair de lune) colour with decorations of clouds and bats engraved under the enamel; on the bottom are three bats carrying auspicious symbols while holding ribbons in their mouths with a double-zucca, grapes and lingzhi, and a band of banana leaves on the outer rim, bears the signature 'Yongzheng Nian Zhi' written in four regular Chinese characters on two lines.
