The Lorrain Art Deco marmorated vase, signed Lorrain on the base, H 12.3 cm. Note: This "Verrerie Belle Etoile" factory was created on 15 December 1925 by Antonin Daum in order to sell, at competitive prices, items other than those produced by the Nancy factory. To emphasise its diversity, this production was not carried out in Nancy, but in Croismare (near Lunéville), where Paul was the director. From 1927, the factory was mechanised to produce pressed blown and pressed moulded glass pieces, signed "Lorrain". Between 1928 and 1934, Pierre d'Avesn produced innovative designs at this factory, signed "Lorrain" and "Lorrain/P D'Avesn".
