Chadel del. - G. Cretté successor of Marius Michel). Edition illustrated with 84 woodcuts in black, engraved by Germaine de Coster and Savinienne Tourrette after drawings by Jules Chadel, hand-pulled by Yoshijito Urushibara. Edition of 120 copies, all on japon, this one of the 20 first copies with a suite of first states, n°17. Enriched copy: - 6 original washings, including 2 previously unpublished, - 2 paintings on silk, on the lining of the binding covers, - 4 woodcuts, one in 2 states, - 2 autograph letters signed by Chadel, one dated 18 July 1931, with a proof and the other dated 12 June 1933, with a large original wash, - the prospectus, - original mock-ups of the binding.
