A multi-talented teacher and poet, Pierre Lecuire has developed a protean body of work from 1950 to the present day, as a poet, designer and architect of books. He saw publishing as the culmination of poetic creation, which is why he never entrusted his poems to other publishers, publishing them himself, choosing the typography, page architecture and paper. Conceived as his artistic manifesto and a total work of art, "Le Livre des Livres" brings together a compilation of his poetic work with engravings by those considered today to be the greatest artists of their time, such as Nicolas de Staël, Lanskoy, Étienne Hajdu, Geneviève Asse, Vera Pagava, Bazaine and Fermin Aguayo.
