LEGA R. D. CONGO Flat mask from the secret initiatory society of BWAMI, of good size, depicting an oval human face, set in a heart. The eyes are almond-shaped and scarified. The nose is long, thin and splayed, with a scarification mark. The half-open mouth with incised lips. Important scarification marks on the cheeks. Very nice old kaolin patina.
