LEGION OF HONOUR A silver grand-croix plaque, entirely with diamond points, finely pierced, silver centre with fine chasing, reverse signed: "N° 46 - KRÈTLY PALAIS-ROYAL PARIS"; tilting pin hallmarked with a boar's head and a hook (the other is missing). Second Empire period. Diameter: 8.6 cm - Total weight: 69 g. (one hook missing, good condition). Attached is a shako plate (fragmentary) of the 130th regiment of line infantry model 1812 (eagle missing). PROVENANCE : - Roger de Montégudet Collection (1880 - 1925) - By descent to this day.
