In-folio brown half-chagrin, smooth spine decorated with cold filets and gilt fleurons, boards covered with brown chagrined paper, gilt title on cover (period binding). Slightly rubbed, corners slightly worn. A few small brown spots. Ex-libris J.M. Complete with 25 etchings representing various views (Nogent, Le Pouliguen, Rouen, Le Croisic, Verneuil, Vannes, Saint Ouen, La Roche, Mizérieux, Sainte Anne, Reuil, La Croule Barbe, La Bouille, Saint Nazaire, Neuilly sur Marne, Morlaix...). With 11 additional engravings by F. Legrip added in fine. Very rare. Born in Rouen, Frédéric Legrip (1817-1871) was a pupil of Eustache-Hyacinthe Langlois, David d'Angers and Joseph Court.
