Lot no. 72
Léon BLOY. L.A.S., Monday [1887], to "My very dear friend" [Jules Destrée?] 1 page in-8. He will not be going to see him 'since Huysmans told me yesterday that you could not receive me', and he sends back 'the package from the little Villiers [Totor, son of Villiers de l'Isle-Adam]. My friend, I am very sorry. It's impossible to give this imperceptible shirt to a six-year-old boy. This item of toiletry supposes a very small child of barely three years old whom one would begin to dress". He hoped that it could be changed in the shop, "and then I would do everything a poor bugger could do to get Villiers for you"... He gave his address: "127, rue Blomet".
