LES ARTISANS DE MAROLLES & DE LOIR ET CHER under the artistic direction of Jean TOURET (1916-2004) Adam and Eve. Sideboard in blond oak worked in honeycomb pattern using an adze and a gouge, the wrought iron escutcheons decorated with Adam and Eve and a lion's head. It opens through four doors and a niche. Marolles stamped with an elephant. Circa 1955. H: 170 - W: 174 - D: 42 cm (minor wear) Exhibition: Les Artisans de Marolles at the Château de Blois, 1958 an identical sideboard was exhibited and documented in a photographic report by Jean-François Doré.
