Lots 46 to 52 belonged to Fabiola, who died aged 77, a former Quebec music-hall star and the first Quebecer to lead a revue in Las Vegas. An excellent dressmaker, she made her own stage costumes and dressed her dolls. "DEPOSE E 7 J" superb little baby ÉMILE JUMEAU, pressed biscuit head, beautiful fixed brown enamel eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears with butterfly earrings, original cork skullcap and blond mohair wig. Head mounted with spring on its beautiful articulated body with fixed wrists, marked with a blue stamp "JUMEAU MÉDAILLE D'OR PARIS". Beautiful original clothes: dress in very pale pink silk and fine lace, low waist, charming old gold brooch with flowers and tiny white pearls, original lingerie in ecru thread with small lace braid: underdress, long shirt, panty, socks in ecru thread and lovely original shoes "8 E.JUMEAU MED OR 1878 PARIS" in ecru leather with large pleated silk rosette, hat lovingly made at the time with large daisies and double tulle flounce, pink satin interior. Height 42 cm
