Hermann Reeder (1803 Orsoy - 1866 Vlotho) studied 1826-1830 in Basel and at the same time was trained at the Basel Mission. In 1831 he became a Mennonite and Mennonite preacher in Newied, where he wrote a collection of sermons. In 1849 he returned to the Protestant regional church, was excommunicated in Koblenz in 1951/52 and was a pastor in Anhalt from 1853. - Contains entries including the following missionaries and clergymen: Georg Gessner (1765-1843, theologian and hymn writer), Johann Christian Simon Handt (1793-1863, Australian clergyman and missionary of the Lutheran faith, 1st missionary of Queensland).
