Reverse with grisaille foliage and gold scrolls, edged with garlands of laurel leaves. Monogrammed P.R. lower left of the allegorical scene (accidents, missing parts and restorations). Mid 16th century. . Diameter: 18.5 cm This scene was a huge success. Seven versions are preserved in museum collections, including one in the Louvre (inv OA 974) dated 1544.
