Tazza cup in enamel painted in grisaille, background decorated with the Allegory of Wine, border with gold scrolls on a black background. Reverse with grisaille foliage and gold scrolls, edged with garlands of laurel leaves. Monogrammed P.R. lower left of the allegorical scene (accidents, missing parts and restorations).

This scene was a huge success. Seven versions are preserved in museum collections, including one in the Louvre (inv OA 974) dated 1544. Variations are present, particularly in the decoration of the borders and reverse.
