Jean-Antoine Linck (Geneva 1766 - 1843) was a Genevan artist who was one of the undisputed masters of high-mountain landscapes, which he drew in line and painted in watercolour. His views, with their subtle colours and perfect framing, are highly sought-after today. He worked with Carl Ludwig Hackert at the start of his career, before opening his own studio in 1802.
