Oak DAIS BED carved with napkin folds and two corner columns bearing the arms of Philippe du Moulin and decorated with scales and twists without symmetry or repetition. 15th century style, late 19th century. To be untangled. Height : 245cm - Length : 214cm - Depth : 180 cm This is a copy of the late 15th century bed by Rigaud d'Aureille from the Château de Villeneuve-Lembron in the Musée des Art Décoratifs in Paris (Inv. PE 968). Rigaud d'Oureilles was butler to the kings of France from Louis XI to François I and ambassador to the great courts of Europe.
