Edition illustrated with 48 woodcuts after drawings by Aristide Maillol. Edition of 500 copies, this being one of the copies hors commerce, monogrammed by the printer and signed by Maillol, accompanied by a double suite in black and red. It is enriched by 6 of the "10 rare proofs not used for illustration and printed in the frisquette state" mentioned by Carteret, printed here on Chine, including one in red. A very fine copy in a striking decorated and lined binding by Semet et Plumelle. Carteret IV, p. 243.
