Decorated with a winged lover crowning two doves pecking in their nest. The border is decorated with foliage. The reverse side bears a pretty thought for the old rebus "Pensez à moi" (Think of me), in an elaborate oval. Border and ends decorated with fleurons and garlands of flowers. 19th century W. 8.2 cm - D. 3.7 cm The match box is made of wood with a hinged lid. It is decorated with a portrait of a man in profile, in a laurel garland, with four hearts in the spandrels. The reverse has the same decoration with a portrait of a woman in profile.
